Education

With over fifteen years of experience leading specialist stained glass workshops and as a fully qualified art teacher working in secondary schools, I bring both professional teaching expertise and extensive craft knowledge to every learning session. My practice is deeply shaped by a strong commitment to wellbeing in education — I believe that creative making offers a powerful space for focus, calm, and personal growth, where learners of all ages and abilities can explore ideas and build confidence through hands-on activity. I am passionate about sharing my skills, techniques, and understanding of the craft, whether guiding students through their first steps in glass work, helping them develop more advanced technical skills, or exploring the history, design, and meaning behind stained glass art. My approach is supportive, inclusive, and adaptable, balancing clear instruction with creative freedom, ensuring that every participant feels encouraged, engaged, and able to enjoy the unique satisfaction of bringing their own designs to life.
